About artist

Born in 1946 in Łódź, Poland. Studied Painting in Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Filmed several features concerned with art and architecture in early seventies. Artist-in- Residence in Amsterdam in 1978/79 and 1982 invited by the Stedelijk Museum and in 1994, invited by De Pont Foundation. In 1995/96 Artists’ Residency in Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin. In 1981 he has moved to the U.S. Since 2001 lives and works in Warsaw. In 2015/16 guest professor at the Painting Department of Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts.
